Virat Kohli, the backbone of the Indian cricket team’s batting lineup, is set to be designated as the fresh brand ambassador for the Border Security Force (BSF), the nation’s second-largest paramilitary force.
The Border Security Force (BSF) has enlisted Kohli’s support to enhance the attractiveness of the 2.5-lakh personnel strong force, entrusted with safeguarding the critical Indian borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh.
BSF chief Subhash Joshi, along with other senior officials, will extend an official welcome to him as the ambassador, giving him the opportunity to engage with the personnel and officials of the force, sharing insights into his journey in the game and his diligent efforts.
Notably, this marks the first occasion when a central paramilitary force has chosen a brand ambassador.
