The Minister of State for Education and External Affairs, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, has announced the release of the India Rankings. The NIRF Rankings 2023 can be accessed at nirfindia.org. The rankings are based on several parameters, including teaching learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcome, outreach and inclusivity, and perception.
According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), the top three positions in the overall rankings are as follows: IIT Madras secured the first position, followed by IISc Bangalore in second place, and IIT Delhi in third place. The rankings continue with IIT Bombay at fourth place, IIT Kanpur at fifth, AIIMS Delhi at sixth, IIT Kharagpur at seventh, IIT Roorkee at eighth, IIT Guwahati at ninth, and Jawaharlal Nehru University at the tenth position.
