Endemol Shine India and Banijay are producing the fifth season of the Malayalam version of the popular Indian reality TV show, Bigg Boss. The show is airing on Asianet and has a 24×7 deferred stream on the Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform. Hosted by Mohanlal for the fifth consecutive year, the season premiered on March 26, 2023. This season marks the first time that a commoner from the general public has been selected as a contestant, courtesy of the title sponsor Airtel.
