Rajasthan, the largest state in India by area, has recently undergone significant changes in its administrative boundaries with the creation of new districts. The state government has initiated the process of carving out new districts to bring governance closer to the people and ensure more efficient delivery of public services. Rajasthan new district list includes 9 districts that were formed in 2018 and 2020. These newly created districts have been established by reorganizing existing districts based on population, geography, and administrative convenience.
