The Women’s T20 World Cup is an international cricket tournament exclusively for women’s teams, organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The tournament is held every two years and features some of the best cricket teams from around the world, including Australia, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the West Indies.
In 2009, the inaugural edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup took place, which was won by the England Women’s cricket team. In the recently concluded 2023 edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, England Women’s cricket team emerged victorious once again, defeating New Zealand Women by 5 wickets. The Indian women’s cricket team, despite reaching the final of the 2020 edition, is yet to win any ICC women’s T20 World Cup title. However, their hopes of achieving this feat for the first time in history were dashed as they were knocked out in the semifinals of the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. In the last tournament, the Australian women’s team had defeated the Indian women’s team by 85 runs in the final.

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 Winners
The final match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 is scheduled to take place on February 26th, 2023. The Australian Women’s team has become the first team to secure their place in the final of the tournament. Unfortunately, the Indian Women’s team has been eliminated from the competition after losing to the Australian team in the semifinal match held on February 23rd, 2023.
