List of Anchors Boycott by INDIA Alliance: The INDIA Alliance has decided to launch a boycott against 14 news anchors who work for 9 prominent national television news channels. This action comes in response to allegations of biased reporting and promoting communal tensions in their coverage of significant national issues, as well as diverting attention from matters of public concern.

The INDIA Alliance has provided a list of anchors and their respective TV news channels, including Aman Chopra, Amish Devgan, and Anand Narasimhan from News18, Aditi Tyagi from Bharat Express, Ashok Shrivastav from DD News, Sudhir Chaudhary and Chitra Tripathi from Aaj Tak, Rubika Liyaquat from Bharat24, Gaurav Sawant and Shiv Aroor from India Today, Prachi Parashar from India TV, Navika Kumar and Sushant Sinha from Times Now Navbharat, and Arnab Goswami from Republic Bharat.

INDIA Bloc issues List of 14 TV News Anchors it will Boycott

The Congress Party has released a roster of television anchors they intend to boycott during the INDIA bloc meeting. Additionally, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has also published its own list of TV news anchors for similar action.

Congress leader Pawan Khera disclosed the list, stating, “This decision was made by the INDIA Media Committee on September 14, 2023, in line with the resolution passed during the INDIA Coordination Committee’s meeting on September 13, 2023. Consequently, representatives from the INDIA parties will refrain from participating in shows and events hosted by the following anchors.”
